I love the surreal effects you can get form leaving the shutter open. There is movement and still in the same shot. Blazing light trails, flowing clouds, stars in transit.... beauty in the images painted with time.

Northern Michigan Exposure

Northern Michigan in the winter has beauty like no other. These pictures were taken during a snowstorm in early January 2010 around the Traverse City area and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Throughout the year this area has a lot ot offer in recreation and scenery.
